Beautifil Non-surgical clinics for women and men including botox in Coventry and Warwickshire.

“It was the afternoon leaving Earlsdon after my very first time.
I was a 40 something man and maybe I still felt the Botox I had just had was a bit of an indulgence. But why had I had it done? Mmm I had wrinlkle lines that were not going when I stopped wrinkling, making me look hard around the eyes, ageing me, it just didn’t look good.
Since then, there has been a sharp rise in men getting Botox — or boytox, as the clinics are calling it.
In many British clinics the number of men plumping for treatment has risen by almost a third this year. Some men view it as a necessary ill in today’s credit crunch cut-throat job market, where you have to look as young and energetic as possible. And in America it is the same story the American Botox manufacturer, Allergan, has reported a 30% surge among men since November with 300,000 American men are now having Botox every six weeks.
As Simon Cowell has confirmed: “Yes, I’ve had Botox, but not in an obsessive way. Every guy I know who works in the City has had it; it’s no more unusual than toothpaste.”
Simon Cowell is just one famous face who has had botox.
Men’s grooming is almost as big a business as women’s beauty, and Botox is only a part of it.
Now Botox is just a fact of life. I have had Botox and I don’t think of it as plastic surgery. For me the key is not to go overboard with a full-on deep freeze, but keep it looking as natural as possible.
I had my treatment with Maria Phillips of Beautifil, clinics around the Coventry and Warwickshire area, who I had trust in not only because she has years of experience but she is also a fully registered General Nurse (RGN) & certified Aesthetics Nurse.
Maria has found that more and more men are coming for treatment “Men normally like a bit of movement, so they often just want to freshen up,” says Maria.
‘Usually, they are a bit nervous the first time and don’t want anyone to know, but I always do a free follow up session and they always love the results.’
I saw just recently that Botox is it not only about looks. I read about James Hobson, a civil servant, who had 30 shots in each armpit due to profuse sweating issues. ‘They drew a grid in my underarms and gave me a shot in each tiny square,” he said. “It cost me £600, but it was worth it, as I would always get embarrassed by damp patches. Now I don’t sweat at all, although I have to get it redone every six months.’
Being acutely aware of the ageing effects of the sun, booze and just about everything else I’ve enjoyed in my life, I’m less interested in turning back the clock than stopping it altogether.
Botox work better as preventatives than curative. As its hold wore off, my forehead remained smooth. The lines had gone, and because I couldn’t move my brow for four months, I’d trained myself out of doing so, exempting me from more wrinkles in later life (I like to think).
Those who didn’t know about my Botox jabs never suspected a thing. I merely looked younger and rested, rather than like a cast member of Eastenders.”

Botox has been used for over 20 years, on over one million individuals worldwide and is the world’s most popular non surgical treatment today.
By using muscles repeatedly throughout a lifetime, the skin is creased in areas of greatest use such as frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead. Because the ageing process causes the slow down of collagen and elastin production in the skin, as we get older these areas of over-use become damaged and the lines become permanent.
By reducing the movement of muscles in these areas the skin stops being creased and is allowed to recover resulting in lines that soften or even fade away. If treatment is maintained over a period of time the facial muscles become re-educated and a yearly maintenance programme is normally required.
Botox TM is used in minute doses for cosmetic therapy and has a very high margin of safety when administered by physicians who have been fully trained in it’s use. Our fully qualified Aesthetics Nurse, Maria Phillips, prides herself on her knowledge and immense experience in this area.
